You can rent at the Anenhütte quickdraws, seat harnesses and climbing helmets. We do not rent any ropes.

We are currently revising the topos.

A unique and very special kind of route! Climbing on Jägichnubel is one of the few routes in the Alps where you can climb a length of 18 ropes in the 3rd or 4th grade to reach over a compact rock the peak, a summit at 3’124 meters above sea level!

After its first ascent in 1926, the route was forgotten, until in summer 2012 Christian Josef Tscherrig (son of Peter Tscherrig) with his friend Daniel Lustenberger (from Kriens) reanimated the route. They set over 80 bolts to secure the route and to provide a perfect abseiling run.

The access is well marked from the Anenhütte and easy to find. The tour has a clear and simple course. An alpine scenery with glaciers and majestic mountains accompanies the climbers.
